Many patients have had positive, life changing transformations working with Dr. Beg. We work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary group of clinicians to help patients achieve both short and long term goals with taking control of their weight.

Here are some of our client's achievements.

David R., 47 years old

I work to improve hospital systems throughout the United States and have a busy schedule which requires travelling to different cities and being away from my home for weeks at a time. My irregular schedule and long work hours made prior attempts unsuccessful in sustaining weight loss. Since working with Dr. Beg, I have lost 23 lbs in 6 weeks and dropped 2 pant sizes.  Under her guidance, I have opted for dietary changes and an intensive exercise regimen, and have not required medications. More importantly, my chronic abdominal pain and food intolerances are significantly improved on my present diet and I have much more energy than 3 months ago. My goal is to hike Mount Kilimanjaro next summer and I am well on my way and have already exceeded my short term goals thusfar.

John M, 27 years old

I work in the shipping industry and have an office and also travel for work. I was not drawn to sports growing up, and I have always been heavier compared to my four siblings. I had undergone ankle surgery in 2020 which was a physical setback, and during the pandemic, I found myself more sedentary than usual. At my heaviest, I was 255 lbs. After meeting Dr. Beg, she recommended gentle exercises as I was recovering from surgery, dietary changes, and a short course of medication for weight loss. I feel the combination of diet, movement, and medication helped to accelerate my initial drop in weight and over the past 14 months, I have lost 45 lbs and feel stronger than ever.  I credit Dr. Beg for giving me the tools to be empowered and continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle and incorporate mindful eating and connect me with a personal trainer once my ankle was healed. I enjoy diving and water sports, and I am excited to return to the water and feel more comfortable in my skin now more than ever. Thank you, Dr. Beg, for helping me to be my confident self again.

Barbara N

I run a busy nonprofit organization and I am on my feet most of the day. I often cannot fit in a mid-day break to eat lunch and find myself very hungry at the end of the day. When this happens, I end up eating more than I would if I had scheduled lunch. This pattern of binge eating lead me to gain weight over time. Although I consider myself active, I suffer from Crohn's disease which can sometimes alter my plans and what foods I can choose to eat due to my sensitive stomach. Dr. Beg made dietary suggestions as well as putting me on a medication which was safe for my Crohn's and I have lost approximately 70 lbs in 5 months. I feel great, have not had as many Crohn's symptoms, and certainly have more energy with some simple interventions.
